Monel 400 (UNS N04400) Blind Flange
The Monel 400 (UNS N04400) Blind Flange is a premium solid-solution nickel-copper alloy that offers outstanding resistance to flowing and stagnant seawater, as well as excellent protection against salt and caustic solutions. Unlike many standard stainless steels, Monel 400 is virtually immune to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and exhibits remarkable toughness over a wide temperature range, from sub-zero to 480°C (900°F).
