Alloy 20 (UNS N08020) Forged Threaded Tee

The Alloy 20 (UNS N08020) Forged Threaded Tee, often referred to as Carpenter 20, is a niobium-stabilized austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy. It was originally engineered specifically to withstand the extremely corrosive nature of hot sulfuric acid. Its elevated nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and copper content provides exceptional resistance to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chemical environments containing chlorides, phosphoric acids, and nitric acids.
