C22000/H90 Brass Bar is solid bar stock made from Commercial Bronze (90% Copper, 10% Zinc). It is known for its attractive reddish-gold color and excellent ductility and cold workability, allowing for superior bending, forming, and drawing capabilities compared to higher-zinc brasses. C22000 bar maintains good corrosion resistance and is easily machined (though not free-machining). This bar stock is often used for architectural trim, ornamental hardware, specialty cold-headed fasteners, and electrical connectors where a balance of workability, aesthetic appeal, and strength is required.
