08F Carbon Steel Coil/Strip
08F Carbon Steel Coil/Strip is a rolled thin-gauge product made from a very low-carbon, rimmed steel with a nominal carbon content of approximately 0.08%. The "F" often denotes a rimmed or killed steel, highlighting its suitability for surface-critical applications. Due to its extremely low carbon content, this coil/strip exhibits superior cold formability and ductility, making it ideal for the most challenging bending, drawing, and stamping operations, and it also has excellent weldability. Although low in strength, 08F coil/strip is primarily used for manufacturing deep drawn components, complex stamped parts, automotive body panels, containers, and specialized tubing where intricate cold shaping and a high-quality surface finish are essential.
